So yesterday was the Exist Trace live show. Damn I was impressed. These girls are fierce. I woke up at eight in the morning cause I had to work from nine till one in the afternoon. When I got back I got dressed and stuff before making my way towards the trainstation. Of course it had to be raining hard so my attempt to style my hair was wasted even before I made it to the train. My train had a delay and I arrived later than I had said but Anne was still waiting on my platform so we met up and walked to the burger king together, where Anke was waiting. We went to the bathroom and ate some fries before we went to the busstop. We hopped in and looked out for our destination. However, the bus didn't waited long enough and the doors closed already before they had opened entirely. So we had to get out one stop later, making us walk back in the pouring rain (;___;)When we arrived at the venue, there were more people than I thought. Not many, but more. We got silent (yes, apparentaly we can) and I drifted off to inner-thought-land for a while. After a half an hour or so I got sick and tired of the cold weather though. I dragged Anne and Anke with me to get something to drink at the gasstation. CLOSED. Than we walked a bit further cause we saw a supermarket when we had to walk back earlier. CLOSED. We really had no luck yesterday. So we walked further and ended up at a little café. I bought myself a hot cup of chocolate milk with whiped cream and enjoyed it till the last drop. I got a bit more energy cause of that drink and we chatted away happily again. We didn't go back till at least half an hour later.
When we got back to the venue I saw Gina standing in the back of the que. We talked and time flew by. The doors finally opened and we all shuffled inside, enjoying the warmth. We bought our merch first, cause we knew we'd have to leave quickly cause of our train schedule. I bought a male shirt (why do I always like the male-shirts better) and it ended up being a bit too big but I don't mind really. I also bought Ambivalant Symphony CD/DVD Japanese edition. You got a signed card with that (with card I really mean a playcard). After that we made our way towards the stage, stuffing our stuff underneath the platform and sat down waiting once again.
That's when the lights went out and the intro music got started. Mally came walking on, followed by Omi (my heart seriously skipped a beat at the sight of her, she is perfect in my eyes), Naoto and Miko. Jyou came walking on a bit later. They started out with RESONANCE. Great song to start with cause the intro is amazing. However, it did took the crowd around three songs to wake up or something. When Water started, everyone finally started jumping and stuff. We couldn't jump cause of the platform so I decided to jump off and move with the crowd. It didn't took long for Anne and Anke to follow me and the energy rushed through my veins. I was so happy and I felt incredibely good. We headbanged, jumped, sang and screamed with them. Omi looked into my eyes quite a lot. I know how people say that but I swear to Gackt (my god) that she did. I stood on the right spot for that as well. She really stole my heart. She is gorgeous, mysterious and unique. She's totally my type -lol-Enough Omi fangirling. I LOVED the setlist. I can't tell you the right order and stuff since I always tend to forget that, eventhough I try so hard to remember it. But yeah, they also played older songs like Judea, which made me as happy as a puddle of happy goo. I headbanged like a lunatic and that made my neck hurt today but it was all worth it.
The MC's were cute. Jyou told us that they went out to walk around that afternoon, but that they turned out lost. She told us that some sweet man had helped them out and that's why they thought that Dutch people were very nice. She repeteated 'I love The Netherlands' three times and the first MC ended. Jyou's English wasn't bad. I was impressed by her in general. On youtube I always flinched a little while watching their live videos, cause she seemed to sing off tune quite a lot, but during their live show she didn't sang off key even once. I really was impressed, cause she doesn't has the easiest singing parts out there. Exist Trace over all really impressed me. This all female Visual kei band sure is a huge recomendation. Make sure to see them at least once in your entire lifetime. They sure deserve it.
Unfortunally I had to leave earlier, cause of my stupid train schedule. I had to leave while they went backstage before the encore (in total we missed thirty minutes of the show) and I got totally bummed by this. Why the hell on earth did they change the start time to nine in the evening. My last train leaves at eleven so that's not do-able. I hate missing a part of this concert but the memory will last forever.
